Kazakh financial watchdog probes 42 dental clinics in $390 million pension fund scam

ALMATY. Jan 6 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Kazakhstan’s Financial Monitoring Agency (AFM) has uncovered a major fraud scheme involving 42 dental clinics suspected of illegally withdrawing over 200 billion tenge ($391 million) from the state pension fund, the agency reported Tuesday.
