ASTANA. April 16 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Kazakhstan’s sugar production could rise from 280,000 tonnes to 900,000 tonnes annually in the coming years following the construction of new plants and expansion of existing capacity, according to Yerken Nauryzbekov, director of the agriculture and food industry department at Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
